Tracksafe: Instilling a Safer and Connected Life

While it is most likely one feels safe at home, that feeling may not extend too far from the front door. Personal safety wearables are needed now more than ever. According to a November report by the World Health Organization, one in three women has experienced sexual or physical violence. Moreover, the elderly in hospitals can feed the doctors with their vitals only as long as they are connected to the machines. Obviously, one cannot grow used to the machines for the vitals. With the idea of solving the twin challenges of real time safety and health reporting, Puneet Kapur and Soumik Nandy established a venture together to enable children, pets and seniors to be safer and healthier through vitals monitoring and ER response. The duo called the venture, Tracksafe. Since its inception in 2015, New Delhi based Tracksafe has successfully launched standalone and Application based Smart GPS bands and trackers for children, pets and elderly citizens.
Tracksafe’s three flagships Tracksafe Junior for kids, Tracksafe Buddy for pets, and Tracksafe Senior for the elderly, have been racing the wearables market with over whelming response. Also, these three products come with Android and iOS apps with 12 months free subscription. The Tracksafe Junior for children also holds a SOS button for the kids to press in order to reach out to their parents/guardians in emergencies.
Growing with the IoT Domain
Consumer IoT was not as mature as it is now, a couple of years ago. As an early entrant, Tracksafe had the advantage of going through the entire 9 yards of multiple stages involving customer awareness & education, price discovery, and market feedback,in terms of hardware and software. This wearable technology provider adapted and pivoted multiple times over the last 3 years. This has transformed Tracksafe from being a consumer facing brand to a brand which has solutions for B2C and B2B sectors (Educational Institutions, SMEs, Pet breeders, Healthcare providers and Senior Care givers). After gathering two
years of extensive experience in the unstable IoT market, Tracksafe is now on the verge of becoming a one stop solutions provider for IoT apps and IoT devices in BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and GPS space. Presently, Tracksafe has been helping with the use case & product development, pricing and GTM strategy enabling companies to offer a 360-degree solution to their consumers.

Some of those being; Measurement and Monitoring of vital health of Pregnant women to ensure timely medical response and there by lowering the Infant mortality rate; Animal friendly Cattle and Pet tracking, Scale up of Child safety and security devices across multiple Schools in Tier 2 & 3 cities.
